On the 22nd I decided to give Cinema 4D a shot, with the target of one day having the technical proficiency to create work like Michael Shillingburg’s. About 28 hours later and I think I’ve managed it! It certainly doesn’t have the finesse, polish or more considered scale that his does, but that’s achievable through more planning / attention to detail – I’m just trying to get the technical know-how down.
This thing is too fun.
Getting a basic understanding of lighting.
Going to be learning a bit of 3D when I’m in the mood. Have tried it in the past and found it a bit overwhelming, but this tutorial series is fantastic.
